Could you quickly and efficiently turn off your electricity, water and/or gas in an emergency situation? Do you know where your emergency shutoffs are? Do they work properly and do you know how to use them? If not, find them, make sure you know how to use them, and they are working properly. This could save you from a small problem quickly turning into major property damage if a water pipe suddenly burst, electricity was arcing and sparking within your walls, or you smelled a gas leak.
